Originally from Fairbanks Alaska, I moved to Sacramento California to peruse a career in animation, starting with attending The Art Institute of California-Sacramento and graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Media Arts and Animation. Prior to leaving Alaska I was enrolled in the University of Alaska Fairbanks taking classes in fine arts.

I am competent in using Maya, Toonboom (pencil check pro), and Adobe After Effects for animation purposes while also proficient in using Photoshop and Illustrator for drawing and illustrating. Been involved in two team-based animations that were both publicly screened. The first animation, titled  “Game Over,” was a sci-fi based 2D animation that was screened at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento and the second animation, “Later Gator,” was a 3D animated comedy that premiered at the winter 2018 Sac-Anime convention.

Some favorite works of fiction include Jack Kirby’s The Demon, the Scott Pilgrim series by Bryan Lee O’Malley, and Hell Blazer by Vertigo/D.C. comics. Other interests include role playing games, particularly World of Darkness by White Wolf production, reading web comics, and submitting animations for the 11 Second Club. I also enjoy attending conventions such as Sac-Anime and CTN Expo (Creative Talent Network Exposition) to connect with other artists.
